The recent Hoes Down Festival at Full Belly Farm was a blast. Harvest and Mill attended and met some stellar like-minded people ... there was music, great food, cool classes and events - our shirts were a huge hit too!
Late Summer Gleaning

It's the end of the summer season. Summer squashes and winter squashes, melons and watermelons, and of course tomatoes, are on their last leg. Farmers have already harvested all they can from their summer fields and they are looking ahead to fall plantings. That's where the gleaners come in.

This was our first year as sponsors and vendors of the National Heirloom Exposition. The Heirloom Expo is an incredible, one-of-a-kind event. It's like a county fair for healthy living and pure food enthusiasts. The event is put on by the wonderful people at Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company.
